Four site supervisors and a monthly signed checklist
Kontorikoristus 24 signed its first contracts with small offices in Ülemiste in 2009. Today it cleans offices, common areas of commercial buildings and apartment building stairwells across Tallinn and Harju County. The same named site supervisor signs each site’s checklist once a month, regardless of who carried out the cleaning. Clients receive that supervisor’s direct number when they sign the contract. From the first contract to the end of 2025, our crews made 138,656 evening cleaning visits and cleaned stairwells 29,725 times. We completed 3,546 separately ordered jobs and served 1,244 clients in total.
Our crews made 14,082 evening visits in 2023, 15,143 in 2024 and 15,903 in 2025. The corresponding numbers of separately ordered jobs were 402, 431 and 457. At the end of 2025, we had contracts with 133 clients: 104 companies covering 148 cleaning sites and 29 apartment associations covering 76 stairwells.
Our crews leave from the Ülemiste depot in the evening: the Keila crew departs at 17:25 and the Rae Parish crew at 17:45.
A dedicated site supervisor for every site
We respond to enquiries within the same working day. A site supervisor measures the premises before preparing a quote; the inspection and quote are free. If work listed on the checklist is missed during a visit, that visit’s price is deducted from the same month’s bill. During the day, supervisors inspect sites and review checklists. In 2025, they conducted 538 inspections and signed 2,616 checklists. At 17:00, supervisors hand the access fobs to the evening shift at the depot; each city crew reaches its first site by 18:00. Once a month, the supervisors review the previous month’s feedback and prepare the next cleaning schedule.
Each access fob is logged to an individual cleaner and passes between cleaners only through a site supervisor. At the end of 2025, 448 numbered fobs were logged to cleaners. Microfibre cloths and mop heads are replaced after 300 wash cycles, when worn fibres no longer hold dirt effectively. In 2025, we retired 2,384 cloths and 1,216 mop heads.
The first 24 office rooms gave the company its name
Margit Pärnaste founded Kontorikoristus 24 in Ülemiste in 2009. Her first contracts were with small offices in the Ülemiste industrial area, and the first covered 24 office rooms. The 24 refers to those rooms, not opening hours. Office hours are 08:00–17:00; cleaning visits take place from 18:00 to 22:00.
In Tallinn, Kontorikoristus 24 today cleans office buildings in Ülemiste and the city center, offices in factory buildings in Telliskivi and Rotermann quarter, general areas of business buildings of administrative companies, and stairwells in panel buildings in Lasnamäe, Mustamäe and Õismäe.
In Harju County, the company's crews reach the office wings of the production buildings on the Keila Paldiski Road, the Maardu logistics terminals in the area near Muuga Port, the warehouses of the business parks of Rae Parish and the stairwells of the new apartment buildings in Peetri, the small offices in the center of Saue, and the clinics in Haabneeme and Viimsi townships. For new office spaces, Kontorikoristus 24 does post-construction cleaning before the first tenant moves in.
Each site is assigned to one of four supervisors, who signs its checklist monthly. A signed checklist and a deduction for a missed visit are two fixed terms of every Kontorikoristus 24 contract. Margit Pärnaste chairs the supervisors’ monthly meeting, where the next cleaning schedule is set. By the end of 2025, she had signed 251 contracts and chaired 191 such meetings between February 2010 and December 2025.
